This breathtaking antique garnet festoon necklace is a striking example of late Victorian / Turn of the century jewelry. Featuring rich, deep red Bohemian garnets in charming rose cuts, the necklace drapes gracefully with celestial clusters and softly graduated stations. Each tiny star sparkles with layered depth, capturing the light with every movement. The star shaped stations glitter in a deep red color with closed back settings. They are arranged in a lattice pattern. The gold-tone metal has a warm, vintage coloring, and the overall construction is substantial and well-crafted. The necklace measures 16in long with a secure box clasp and safety chain. This necklace is over 100 years old and does have light age related wear, however it is in lovely condition. This gorgeous piece will make an excellent addition to any vintage jewelry collection.

CONDITION
This necklace is in beautiful antique condition with age-appropriate wear. One small garnet is missing near the back, but this is not visible when worn. Light age-related surface wear. Overall, the piece is striking, well-preserved, and a wonderful example of Victorian design.
