A rare and collectible Art Deco novelty watch ring that merges form and function in the most stylish way. This marvel of 1920s design features a cleverly disguised hinged watch winder that blends in with the shoulder details of the ring. The watch face is shielded beneath a hinged locket-style cover that opens to reveal a Swiss 17-jewel movement by Fortis & Co. Set in 14K white gold with Deco engraving and a patent-pending mark on the band, this piece is a fantastic example of miniature horology and Art Deco ingenuity. Please note that this ring is almost 100 years old and delicate, the watch movement does work, however it is not reliable when keeping time - we do not recommend opening the case without consulting your local watchmaker or jeweler. It ticks when wound (not seized up), but does not keep accurate time. This piece is a good candidate for restoration however it needs to be opened and wound with care.
