Here is the sweetest little antique storage box. This was originally a cosmetic container from the DuBarry company. This early plastic has striations intended to look like ivory, sometimes referred to as ivorine or french ivory. The bottom retains its original stamp, "ivory pyralin, Du Barry." This little box would be a great place to store treasures and would look absolutely charming in photoshoots or displayed on your vanity.

  • Condition Report

    All our antique and vintage jewelry is pre-loved and may show signs of age-related wear. As part of our commitment to your positive shopping experience, in this section, we list any condition issues we see, however minor they may be.     • Overall very nice antique condition, with some small scratches on close inspection. There is some discoloration on the inside; this would have originally had a glass insert for holding cosmetics which is now missing. There is one mild area of slight discoloration on the lid.

    Please note any boxes and props are not part of the listing. 

  • Shipping

    All domestic Shipping within the States is free! Orders will be shipped with insurance via USPS. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your new treasure is on its way. Please allow 1-3 days for us to pack your order. Orders will be carefully packed in the order they are received. The Condition Report

An item must be 100 years old or older to be considered antique. This means many antiques may have age-related wear. We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
