Here is a wonderful antique elephant hair ring. This is a very collectable, late Victorian / early Edwardian ring with two twisted strands of elephant hair that are intertwined with gold milgrain metal detail. These rings were popular souvenir items and were said to bring luck to the wearer. Elephant hair jewelry is highly collectable and relatively rare due to its fragile nature! This is a wonderful antique ring and its just darling! Ready to wear or collect. This ring would be an amazing addition to a Victorian curio cabinet!

An item must be 100 years old or older to be considered antique. This means many antiques may have age-related wear. We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
