Vintage Silver Bench Bead style necklace

Vintage Silver Bench Bead style necklace

Here is a great true-vintage chunky beaded silver necklace. The necklace is sterling silver, with beads strung on a delicate chain. The necklace closes securely with a lobster-style clasp and will add instant texture to any outfit. The silver has a fantastic dark patina on the beads. However, the new owner could polish this to a high shine. This wonderful and whimsical beaded necklace is ready to wear, collect, or gift to someone special.

Length from end to end approx 24in long

Hallmarks: 925 for sterling

Vintage 1940s-60s with what looks like a replacement clasp

• Overall very nice and professionally cleaned. Minor age-related surface wear. As mentioned, there is a heavy patina on the silver beads that could be polished if desired. Clasp works well but appears to be a later replacement. A fantastic chain!

The Condition Report

An item must be 100 years old or older to be considered antique. This means many antiques may have age-related wear. We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
