A serene Victorian-era cross pendant hand-carved from translucent agate in soft gray-white tones with faint natural striations. The smooth, matte finish and gentle color variation lend an ethereal quality, beautifully offset by the antique base metal bail with subtle aged patina. A quietly sculptural piece of 19th-century jewelry art. Note that the cross looks a bit darker in the photos than it does in actuality.

The Condition Report

An item must be 100 years old or older to be considered antique. This means many antiques may have age-related wear. We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
