This Victorian bar pin features an etched butterfly at center, framed in an Etruscan revival design with shell-shaped finials at each end and beautiful granulated details. This late Victorian, Aesthetic period treasure is buttery yellow 14K Gold filled - there is quite a bit of gold in this brooch. A secure tube hinge and C-catch closure complete this charming 19th century jewel. This charming antique pin is wearable and ready to collect.

An item must be 100 years old or older to be considered antique. This means many antiques may have age-related wear. We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
