Vintage Amco glass Intaglio Fox Set in Silver

Charming Mid-Century fox-themed set by AMCO, featuring a bracelet, earrings, and bar pin with reverse-painted glass cabochons. Each piece displays a hand-painted fox portrait under glass—an homage to Victorian Essex crystal style, sometimes lovingly referred to as “Goofus Glass.” The cabochons are foxed to abalone shell backings. The set is absolutely adorable and includes a bracelet, pin and pair of screw back earrings. The pieces are stamped for sterling and appear to be rhodium plated. Some light wear and age related discoloration is present- overall a great vintage set that is ready to collect!

CONDITION
Light age-related surface wear throughout. Stamps present on each piece, but metal composition likely silver-plated base metal. Very cute and display-worthy.

An item must be 100 years old or older to be considered antique. This means many antiques may have age-related wear. We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
