A beautiful Late Edwardian/Art Deco piece, this ring pairs romantic filigree with a natural star sapphire in luminous 14K white gold. The center sapphire, bezel set,  measures 5.4mm and reveals a delicate six-pointed star when the light this just right! —a phenomenon highly prized among gem collectors. Two brilliant-cut diamonds sparkle above and below, providing a striking contrast to the sapphire’s ethereal glow. This beautiful ring features pieced open work filigree details and milgrain accents. This ring is a smaller size 4.75 but can be resized by request. This lovely and truly unique antique jewel will be at home in any jewelry collection.

CONDITION
Very good antique condition with light age-related wear. Star sapphire displays natural six-ray asterism under direct light. Diamonds bright and secure, filigree crisp and intact. Diamonds have closed back settings, possibly a later addition or update to the ring. This ring has been sized down in the past, our jeweler is happy to bring it back up!

We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
