Antique Georgian Giardinetti Bague au Firmament Style Pendant
This is a special antique pendant, likely crafted in the late 1790s to early 1800s. This beautiful collector's piece features 23 glittering antique Rose Cut Diamonds. The center of the pendant showcases a Giardinetti flower pot design, a popular theme during the Georgian era. 'Giardinetti' translates to 'little garden' in Italian. The floral design is set against a Bristol Blue Glass cabochon surrounded by rose-cut diamonds.
The back of the pendant is intricately detailed with a pair of hand-engraved flowers. The bale of the pendant features diamonds on the front and engraved leaf details on the back. This stunning antique pendant is well over 100 years old and remains in lovely antique condition.
