Here is a dramatic pair of antique sterling silver earrings featuring paste gems in a French inspired filigree design. These oversized, articulated dangle earrings showcase intricate openwork patterns and gems in closed-back settings, adding to their old-world charm. The earrings are articulated in two places, adding beautiful movement. Stamped 925 on the reverse, these earrings are perfect for collectors of antique paste jewelry or anyone seeking a bold historical statement piece. Please note that some of the paste gems have been lovingly replaced by someone at some point in history. These fantastic antique earrings will make a unique and special addition to any jewelry collection. These earrings very closely resemble Normandy Style French construction.

CONDITION
These earrings are in antique, pre-owned condition with age-related wear. Some paste stones show surface wear or aging, and a few appear to be replacements, shining more brightly than some of the older stones. Overall wearable but rustic and best suited to those who love authentic antique charm. These could be gently polished to a high shine if desired. Due to the closed back style settings, we do not recommend these earrings to be submerged in water.

We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
