A lovely hand‑carved shell cameo featuring a left‑facing woman in profile. The shell has a lovely  soft pastel orange/cream hue. Her neoclassical styling evokes a goddess, with graceful hair details and serene expression. Her hair is beautifully carved with twisting tendrils, reminiscent of classical paintings. The cameo is framed in rich 14k gold with delicate boule and rope‑twist work around the border. It has both a bail to wear as a pendant and a pin fitting to wear as a brooch, offering versatile styling. This lovely heirloom quality cameo pendant/brooch will be at home in any jewelry collection.

CONDITION
Beautiful antique condition with warm patina to the gold. Light age‑related wear consistent with late Victorian jewelry. Some age- related discoloration to gold, could be carefully polished if desired.
