Here is a lovely antique Victorian Brooch in the form of an Ivy Leaf. The leaf is beautifully hand-carved from malachite, highlighting the swirling green hues of the natural stone. The setting is silver with antique C-claps -in fantastic working condition. A swirling curled tendril rests under the leaf. The ivy leaf was a popular Victorian symbol of love and fidelity that was often associated with the phrase "cling to me." This brooch is a true antique from the 1800s, over 100 years old, and does have some surface wear. This wonderful Victorian Brooch is ready to wear, collect, or gift to someone special.

This Brooch is in overall nice condition. There is a small age-related fracture in the tip of the malachite leaf. It is well-set and not loose. There are small irregularities and surface wear in the stone, which is characteristic of malachite. Overall, it is a great antique piece that is ready to wear!
