Victorian Pyrite Bar Brooch
Here is a fabulous and unusual little antique pyrite specimen brooch. This fantastic bar-style brooch is from a time when "fools gold" wasn't for fools. This Victorian brooch boasts three little blocks of rectangular cut raw pyrite in a rose-gold tone setting. The little pyrite stones are very glittery when the light hits them. The settings are closed-back style. A tiny decorative trefoil sits on each end of the bar brooch, elevating the simple design. This little brooch has a tube-style pin with an early safety clasp. The pin element is in great working condition. This brooch is a wonderful little conversation starter. This little treasure of history is ready to wear or collect.
