A delightfully unusual piece of vintage utility and charm. This oversized vintage loupe pendant features a folding magnifying glass that tucks into a beautifully engraved floral casing. Though handmade with a bit of rustic flair, it functions beautifully and would be a lovely addition to any vintage jewelry collection. Whether worn as a conversation-starting pendant or kept handy for close-up reading, it's as fun as it is functional. The outer case tests as coin/low silver; the inner component is not silver. I'm not sure what the magificication power on the loupe is, however I know it is not quite the 10X for a standard jewelers loupe.

CONDITION:
Antique condition with visible wear and patina throughout. Hinge works nicely. As mentioned, this is handmade and does have the charm of a hand fabricated piece.  A very cool and collectible piece with loads of personality.

The Condition Report

An item must be 100 years old or older to be considered antique. This means many antiques may have age-related wear. We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
