Vintage Ruby & Diamond Pendant in Platinum

A darling conversion piece, this vintage ruby and diamond pendant began its life as a ring. Now gracefully repurposed, it retains all the charm of its original form—complete with a deep pink/red ruby nestled in a beautifully etched, antiqued platinum leaf design. Four petite full-cut diamonds glint softly around the ruby, like dew on flower petals. Though petite in size, this pendant carries a bold presence, with a romantic story and elegant craftsmanship. Converted from a ring with care, it hangs from a solid, substantial bail and is marked “PM” for platinum. A wonderful nature inspired estate find that will be at home in any vintage collection.

The Condition Report

An item must be 100 years old or older to be considered antique. This means many antiques may have age-related wear. We chalk it up to character and love it, but it is essential that we fully describe any wear, no matter how minor. Each piece is carefully inspected, tested, and fully described before it lands in the shop.
